So Honored to Have Received the Photographer of the Year - 2015 Award

A heartfelt thank you to the Azerbaijan Photographers Union for presenting me with their Photographer of the Year-2015 Award. I am pleased, honored and humbled to accept this award in the presence of so many talented people, really giants of our profession and to join past recipients who I have long admired and respected. Thank you to those who nominated me and supported my nomination. And an enormous salute to all of this year’s nominees each of whom have made incredible contributions to the development of the photographic community in Azerbaijan. And, of course, thank you to my extended family and friends for always supporting me and being here this evening.

I found a wonderful place in my studio to keep this beautiful award, and each time I look at it I’ll be reminded of the recipients who came before me and how truly humbled and grateful I am to the Azerbaijan Photographers Union to have presented me with this prestigious award.
