Kids are our future

As you may already noticed I love taking pictures of children. It is very interesting and challenging at the same time. The kids are unpredictable. You never know what inconsistency they're going to catch you in next (~Franklin P. Jones). And no doubt, all of them are great and lovely and you can definitely learn many things from them. I just put few photos of each session here in this post instead of making separate post for each one. This is kind of a collage of kid photographs I have taken during this month.

Ayan, Sada and Hijran

This is a set of photos I did for my dear daughter Sada, her cousin Ayan and their friend Hijran. Three different styles and beauties. Ayan's style is more Italian, Sada's - English/North American and Hijran's - Spanish/Latin American.

The Gang

Last week I finally kept my promise I gave to my kids and took them to our summer house in the village for a week. Four hours of driving and you are away from all that city mess, crowd and technology. The kids became even more excited when they heard that their cousins are going to join us on that trip. Very soon all the gang got together and of course I did not waste the opportunity to take these funny photos.

Baby Araz

Araz is the name of the river which rises near Erzurum, Turkey flows through Iran and then turns into Azerbaijan and is well known for its uneasy nature. Nargiz and Vugar decided to call their newborn son Araz because of the same reason. Little Araz is only two months old but he is already a man of strong character.

Gunay's photo session in the office

Today was one of the regular boring work days. It was lunch break and we were sitting in the office kitchen, eating and talking about various things including photography. All of sudden one of my colleagues Gunay said that she would like to have some good portraits. I hope nobody noticed how my eyes sparkled. We started thinking about the places for the photo session and finally agreed to have some test shooting right in the office after the working hours. So, the office became my studio this evening and Gunay got her photographs.

Lines, shapes and colors

From time to time I have a weird feeling when I need to shoot photographs. It is the same as if you need to eat or drink something. That was one of this kind of days and here are the results I came up with.
